Members of our congregation have participated in a variety of types of Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation training, and action for justice.  We continue to grow as a diverse community of God’s people.

Our ways of approaching the challenges of racism and white-privilege in our neighborhoods and church communities change with the times. Since the events in nearby Ferguson and in our own community, our congregation has been actively involved in work and witness for racial justice.  We have served as Safe Space for community members to talk about racial justice and for the support of non-violent protest.  We have engaged in Sacred Conversations on Race,  and are committed to build the God’s Beloved Community in this place.   At all times we seek to simply be a community in which we are aware and honest. We try to talk about the things that matter!

We support our denomination’s RECONCILIATION Ministry to provide resources for communities to work on the hard issues of racism.
