Week of Compassion

Week of Compassion (WOC) is more than just a week! It is the relief and development ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) through which we respond to development needs and disasters in the U.S. and around the world.

Through WOC, we have responded to the needs of communities following tornado, earthquake, flood, and the tragedies of war. From the May 2025 tornado in St. Louis, to hurricanes Helene and Milton to Katrina, Rita and Harvey, to earthquakes and flooding in India, Japan, Haiti, the Philippines, and around the world, we are present.

We also offer opportunities for people to participate in hands-on mission projects in places of need.
