March 22nd – Potluck at the International Institute – 3401 Arsenal Street Compton Heights Christian Church is one of several organizations volunteering to share in a potluck meal and get to know immigrants and refugees new to St. Louis by engaging in a Community Potluck at the International Institute.

Each Compton member who participates is asked to bring an extra large dish – vegetable, meat or dessert. Simple dishes are preferred. Dishes should be identifiable (no casseroles). Meat dishes can be chicken, fish, or beef, NO PORK. Desserts should not include chocolate.

Our primary goal is to share a meal and conversation, getting to know these new Americans. This is a relationship-building and “bread breaking” event.

(The next potlucks are scheduled for April 26, July 26, Sept. 20, and October 25.)
